It has been interesting to see how the new Reno Street Food organization’s plans were going to turn out after announcing their own desire to hold Friday events in downtown Reno with food trucks. Some background: The owners of Gourmelt spent a lot of time and effort setting up the first Reno Food Truck Fridays event in downtown Reno. Shortly after that event, a group named Reno Street Food announced that they will be holding the exact same kind of event in the same location (City Center) on the other Fridays of each month. RGJ has another recap of the drama.
Looking at the line-up for tomorrow’s first Reno Street Food event, it appears that only 3 actual food trucks (Red Truck Tahoe, Dish Truck and St. Lawrence Pizza) will be serving with the majority of the food vendors being catering companies.
The facebook event for tomorrow’s Food Truck Fridays in downtown Reno is located here. According to the Facebook page, the food truck line-up will be: Red Truck Tahoe, BoDawgs, GourMelt, Tortas Ebenezer, Sauce Wagon, Kenji’s Food Truck, Fat Burger, DishTruck, Island Ice, & St. Lawrence Pizza Co.
Some arts vendors will be in attendance as well as a bounce house for the kid in all of us! Seas & Centuries will be playing music.
Click on any of the truck names on right side of the page to get truck information, including photos of the trucks & their menus!
Here is all of the info you need for May 4’s Food Truck Friday in downtown Reno.
